Important Vacation care survey

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR PARENTS WHO REQUIRE VACATION CARE THIS HOLDAY

Dear Parents and Caregivers

As we move toward the Term 1 vacation period the Department’s Before and After School Care (BASC) team has committed to collecting and collating vital information regarding vacation care.

To support this process, we are asking that all families who require care for their children complete a survey regarding care arrangements for the upcoming holiday period.

The Department is working with vacation care providers to ensure that the needs of all families are met during the Term 1 holiday period.

For those of you who are using the printed version of this survey, please return the completed survey to the school by COB Friday 3 April 2020.

Newtown North Out Of School Hours (NNOOSH) care

An affordable 'before and after school' care facility is situated within the school grounds and is administered by a community-based independent organisation.

Before and after school care is available five days a week and is available during the following hours:

Before school:     7:15am - 8:55am
After school:        3:00pm - 6:00pm

Non-school days:

  • Public Holidays --> Closed
  • School Holidays --> Check school Newsletter
  • School Staff Development Days -->  Limited Places (Check with NNOOSH)

Enrolment: 

North Newtown OOSH Inc, NOOSH, accepts permanent (recurring) bookings for before and afterschool care and casual bookings providing there are spots available. Please register and sign in via My Family Lounge to enrol (link below).

Bookings for Vacation Care can only be made as ‘casual' bookings for each specific vacation care period.  Vacation care bookings ordinarily open around week 6 and close in week 8/9 of any 10/11-week term to allow us to confirm excursion numbers and adequately staff the vacation care period.

You may make any casual booking via the "casual booking" function on the My Family Lounge Dashboard, or via the My Family Lounge app for Android or iPhone
